Added a couple of 1875-CC's to my odd collection- 1 slabbed and 1 raw.

The question is how many things can you find wrong with these!

Nowhere near my area, looks fake? Is there a prize or just bragging rights?

Well, aside from just looking fake, especially the slabbed one, the font of the mintmarks on both coins is wrong.

Just too quick maybe?
I was replacing Master bedroom floor all weekend. And cleaning up/putting stuff away Monday.

I'm like John1, not familiar with the series but I was interested to see how this played out.

I did happen to notice both seem to have the same raised anomaly at the top of right C of the MM.
Also, the fourth star from the bottom left has the same die chip(?) in the upper portion.

It looks like these are from the same die pair?

The "raw" one looks more fake than the slabbed one but if they are the same die pair that makes me tbink both are fake.

And if so, this begs the question if the PCGS slab is fake as well?

I strongly suspect these coins to be counterfeit.
