I ran across this penny with what looks like die cracks or circulation scratches. However, most of the ones that I have seen as scratches usually run in very straight lines and are incused. These looked more like raised which would infer a die crack. Let me know what you think.
Incuse would be damage on the coin. (Below the fields) Probably scratched with a straight pin or a thin knife? Note the line at the right base east of the top. You can see the scratch with the metal debris forming on the outside edges the damage to the coin. Just a copper cent now.
