There should be a hall of fame for head scratching/what were they thinking slabbed coins. Better yet, start a topic for 'post your what were they thinking slabs'.

Or a thread for "Hall of Shame" for those types of coins/auctions? (Sellers images would need to be included since ebay or where ever won't have them available indefinitely.) Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Wonder if was a sanded coin for a lowball collection but looked too "off" for a straight grade.
Not sure I've ever seen a modern grade less than MS lol
