There should be a hall of fame for head scratching/what were they thinking slabbed coins. Better yet, start a topic for 'post your what were they thinking slabs'.

Or a thread for "Hall of Shame" for those types of coins/auctions?

(Sellers images would need to be included since ebay or where ever won't have them available indefinitely.)

Wonder if was a sanded coin for a lowball collection but looked too "off" for a straight grade.

Not sure I've ever seen a modern grade less than MS lol
