Hello. I'm new so don't be too hard on me. I can't seem to get any help or information on my 2011 Vicksburg quarter that looks very odd. It's the same thickness as a dime but it only weighs 5.00 grams. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. My pictures won't do justice to it. If this was altered by someone, they had to have used some machine tools bc it's too perfect to have been done by hand. Thanks in advance for anyone's thought or knowledge.

@int, first welcome to CCF. Second, that quarter has been damaged mechanically—not a mint error.

this coin was held (by some manner) in the middle and then took a sander to it and let it rotate and it was sanded down.
