I found a 1971 D penny and looks like a floating roof and no FG. any opinions?

Roof looks fully attached to me FG has been polished off. No added premium for those...IMHO.

Yes I agree with @john that while the engravers initials seem to be missing, the dies used to strike this coin were not so overpolished that the roof is completely untethered to the rest of the Lincoln Memorial.

yep, that roof is hanging on by a thread, but is still attached.

Typical extreme die polishing. Even the statue (sub devices) are weakened. Just a die event. The die was normal when it started out. Polishing/die rescue weaken the devices on this die as it aged.
