On the obverse side I am wondering if this coin could be considered an error since there were droppings by his mouth were considered an error. This coin has extra droppings by his eye. I call it the tear jerker.lol

A little difficult to tell given the photo posted--are those 'drops' raised, or sunken (incuse)?

@arm, first welcome to CCF. Second, best practice is to start only one thread per coin so I have merged your two threads.

Thank you for merging them. I was having difficulty replying on the 1st one. What do you suggest I do with that coin to find out if it is authentic? If it is, would it be considered an error?

to the CCF The coin is authentic. Your photos are not clear enough for me to see what you are trying to show.

I finally got my first one in change today. Where have they all been? Just kidding! I don't get change back very often. It was a nice find though. Good shape too!
Yours has some issues already. The dots around his eye, scratches on his cheeks and his forehead are pretty obvious. Those raised areas look like chips to me - they're not very clear.

From the scrapes on the forehead and the rim damage on the cheek it may be just PMD? I have only heard of the drooling George and bump on the nose for the known raised errors on this coin. Let me know if there are more. Thanks.
