Ah, what the heck, I'm on a roll... one more:

1926-S

I think this one is a decent coin. Good honest wear and nice color in my opinion...Grades?

G details, yes. I like '26 S wheat cents--have several dozen of them in 2x2s, aside from better examples in albums.

So far, all of your coins are in very poor condition.

@Coinfrog -

Thanks for all the grading help. I've had many of these coins since I was a kid, picked from coffee cans at the LCS. The later dates were easy, I have all those in shiny red unc... One dealer in my old neighborhood let me crack open bank-rolled BU rolls of Wheats from the 40s and 50s. I filled some folders with those at 15 cents a piece. But the earlier coins, and anything even close to semi-key were too rich for my salary as a paper boy for the Boston Globe. So, yeah, all the coins I posted so far are my coffee can coins and I love them! They meant so much to me as a kid filling those holes!!! And soon they'll help another collector fill a folder or two...

@ijn1944

I'm the same way, I keep multiple examples of my fave dates. My fave coin in ghe Wheat sseries is the plain ol' 1919. I just always liked the digits!

G details

i started collecting in the mid 60's as a paper boy also. I saw everything from Indian cents to silver dollars in circulation. many of my collections were filled with coins I found in circulation. it was so much easier then to find them. many coins looked like yours, well worn. they went into the album and as I found better examples I just swapped them out. sure wish I would have kept all the silver that went through my hands. i'll bet if you ask many folks on here you will see this is how they started as well. there is no shame in collecting coins that have this kind of wear. the fun part is filling the holes and enjoying seeing them all side by side knowing you found them
