Could anyone help me pin down exactly what type(if any) error these are?
The 2002 Indiana weighs 5.65g, the South Carolina weighs 5.57g
Ultimately I'd like to know the value. Thanks

@bbr, yes just extensive surface discoloration rather than missing a clad layer. I think that these are both worth face value.

I agree - this is environmental discoloration with no added numismatic premium.

Just toned quarters - you can see in your first image the coin on the left was partially covered by another quarter and the exposed area toned out.

Coins that have been in the dirt or been subject to anything like soda, coffee will turn color. Examples are ponds, cup holders in cars or picked up off the street.
