Hello, colleague ''AGENT007'' from Alabama! (I have chosen to ''call'' you like this as you have a so ''hard'' pseudo).
About your coin and without been disrespectful to other colleagues who gave you already their reply/opinion,I want to tell you:
1)I GUARANTEE the authenticity of this silver spanish coin! So,it is 100% from mainland Spain (NOT from other country or spanish colony) ; and we don't speak about a gold 5 pesetas coin but of a silver coin which minting weight was 25g.(minus a bit of circulation wear = 24.9g.).That is as normal as it may be!
2)The ''problem'' with the 2 stars that are placed right/left the large date: By no means, they do not show the mintage number of pieces & have nothing to do with the grade of a coin (its quality=state of conservation). The stars show ONLY THE ACTUAL MINTING YEAR of that coin! The large year is the first year of the type. Some newer spanish coins have the same year written in large figures and on the stars,AS YOUR COIN surely has: 18 - 76 (1876).
3)In my opinion, your coin may be graded as XF40. But, please keep in mind that more than 8.5 million pieces were minted in 1876 & catalogue values are indicatives only. Spanish silver 5 pesetas coins of kings Amadeo I(elected,of Savoy),Alphonso XII & Alphonso XIII (legitimists,of Bourbon) can be found quite often.

In this KM ''World Coins'' page you may see that the actual minting year of coins is that in () & can be found on the 2 small stars.
King Amedeo's coins bear the ''frozen'' large date 1871,the actual issue date is given in ()
Your coin of Alphonso XII has the same date 1876,large and ín ().
Hope everything is clear now.
Friendly yours,Andi
