1984 penny that half is faded out on both sides and it really smooth in the area that's faded also gets skinnier can anybody tell me if it's a error tho?

Appears to be worn, perhaps exposed to an acidic environment. And maybe some grease strike through. A little difficult to tell given the somewhat small photos. An accurate weight (out to two decimal places) might tell us more. Thanks.

Please crop your coin images to the edges of your coin co we can see your coin not the what appears to be a bathroom sink it is sitting on.

Anyway I'll take a stab and say it could be a rolled thin planchet.

Can you also give us an image of the edge? Not just of the top by the head, but rather from the left or right side. What we would call K9 or K3 - meaning nine o'clock, or 3 o'clock (Imagine your coin when oriented correctly as an analog clock)
