It's missing the L in Liberty and I can't tell if it's an s (which I believe it is) as it's damaged there also. I don't know if this is a striking problem or occurred after it was made. Thanks, I'm a noobie as you can probably tell! lol.

@j0N, first welcome to CCF. Second, when I crop, rotate, and enlarge your picture, all I'm seeing is damage.

Thanks for the welcome and the quick reply. I'm trying to learn about valuable wheat pennies primarily. I have three steel 1943 and about four 1944 copper... of course I need them the other way around! What about the missing L. Do you think it was damaged after the minting process or during?

I see only damage - none of those hits occurred at the mint.
