Hello,
I am not sure if this is a mint error or environmental error.
I do see doubling on the date and mint and letters at the top and back.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I'm sorry about the pictures all of my gear is acting up at the moment. Please no sarcasm, I am just trying to find out. Thank you

@cur, that is 100% damage. You can see where the gouges are so deep in places that the underlying zinc core has been exposed. This one is a spender.

Incuse marks are damage to a coin. The mintmark is showing split plating on the area, also zinc rot is setting in. Just a spender damaged coin. Take a look at the sites to see what you should see on a doubled die. Then you will know what to look for on a doubled die.
