Second, it is a little hard to tell if that is a small circulation gouge (as it would be a continuation of the damage to the eyebrow and eyelid) or a die chip instead. I'm initially skeptical that it left the mint this way. Is the 'defect' raised from the surfaces or sunken in? That would tell us a lot about how it occurred.
