This is one of the stronger "wavy steps" trail dies I have found.

Was this you on the discovery, coop or another Richard Cooper?

Wavy steps are not a DDR. They are a different die event. Yes that is my coin. I also found another interesting one:

This one was found in mint sets.

@Dearborn: I don't know if you notice what coop said, "not a DDR". These were thought to be a doubled die, at one time but have since been de-listed as such, after they were discovered to be a trail die. There is still the argument of whether or not to be considered a "variety", regardless, I just think they are cool!

cc still leaves them up, to explain. LINK https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...ie_state=mds

I consider wavy steps and trail dies a die event not an error or variety.

I would not disagree, it makes more sense but just enjoy them, especially the more extreme ones.

Thanks! PM me if you would like a couple. I recently gave several away but sure I still have a few. Even a few nice nickel trails.

Thanks MAKE and COOP for the remarks and posting. OMG, I never took a minute for this, I just put in the cat of the damaged stairs LOL. Innocent me. This happened if you focus on only few things.

I get tunnel vision from time to time, Silvio. I've been following "banknotes" lately, from afar. You've been stepping out though, digging into doubled dies I can tell you are a control freak, like me but have to let your hair down and just not care. Step outside your comfort zone.
