Since 82 was a pretty involved transition year and being listed in the Red Book under both composition of 2.5 and 3.1 it would seem that eventually someone will find a 83 @ 3.1. Maybe someone already has. If so what do you think it will be worth ?

Over 200 mills. was release. How many recalled by the big recall in 1986 and 1987 no one know. Sure must be here around and pass as one normal cent. Today in one post for 1983 cent I post the data for. Once the collectors know about and the others, I am sure more samples will come out. Price will be direct proportional with the demand.

Yes, I will come back very soon. Not choice yet the place. I have 3 of them and I have to analyze the territory data for made the move. My wife has her request and me also, so I have to find the best compromise. Sure I will not return in NY or NJ.

Altered coins would be considered damaged coins. circulated coins would be worth less of a premium if it were a copper cent.
