Die cracks were a common occurrence in the War Nickel series, so there is not a lot of numismatic premium or interest for them.
Your coin with the die crack through the S mint mark is often referred to as a $ reverse, but again it's quite common to find.
The base coin actually appears to be in pretty good condition, maybe low MS but impossible to say with the photos provided. I suggest the condition of your coin is driving the value rather than the die crack.
Numismedia FMV has an 1942-S MS62 at about a $25 coin.
