coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/30/2023 12:25 pm Looks like the coin was sanded down on the obverse.How can I tell? Not the height of the rims. A lowered rim area tells the coin was was altered post strike. Sometimes grease can fill some devices, but this will leave the left over devices wider not smaller on the tops of the devices. If the coin was altered, then it would be less than 5 grams. Report this Post to the Staff
