Good morning. I grabbed this out of circulation thinking it was polished but it isn't. The devices are struck in detail and the reeded edge is sharp with no dings. On Washingtons face and neck there appears to be raised but pressed areas that I can't make out. It weighs 5.49 grams. Anything out of the norm or simply a well treated, underweight but within tolerance coin? Here's a few images...

The weight is ok for a quarter - only .2g under, within the tolerance the mint has set.
There is a tiny bit of weal on top of Washington's cheek, ear, and hair, but not much after that.
It looks like it did not see much circulation. The reverse has all the breast feathers, which is impressive as they usually wear out fast. all in all a nice find.

Looks to me like a lightly circulated '77 quarter, perhaps with a very slight obverse misaligned die. A common coin in nice condition. Not seeing any errors. Would make a good album hole filler until better comes along

that reverse sure struck up nicely for an underweight planchet, early die state, very pretty reverse
