What would you say is going on here?
Looks like the rim is double split in that area.
Would you call it a rim Cud or Rim Fin?

Well the coin itself is what is called a MAD strike (the obverse is off center a bit and the reverse is not - we call it a Miss-Aligned Die)
The raised part could be a Rim Fin - but I have not ever seen one on the inside edge of the rim before.

I hope someone smarter them myself can explain it better.

When looking at the devices on this coin, there is DDD on all the devices on the obverse towards the closest rims. But to the left side of the 'L' on Liberty, (Image #3) I see striation lines there on the rim. So I feel this is another form of Machine Doubling on this coin. So I feel this is a push towards that area of MD. (But can't see this on the devices) So I feel this is not a MAD issue. Just slight Machine Doubling that cause this from a higher bounce. Either way there is not premium for this striking event. (Not MAD enough for a premium)
