Here I got 38 proof silver quarters 1960 and one 1962 in different condition. I need help to determine the value of these coins and asking for advice if I should store them in the tube like I originally got them or put them in holders and grade each one (if it's worth it..)

Hi, It is a little painful, personally, to me, to see loose proof coins like this with evidence of handling. Lets stop the bleeding first.
Always handle your coins by the edge, and over a soft surface in case they drop. ( Not over other coins on a soft surface either! )

Somebody probably was cutting up proof sets and keeping the best coins from a huge hoard of these proof sets and put the best in holders and tubed up the rest. Maybe they were after the Franklin Cameos or small dates or other cameo singles, or who knows what else, but it is my experience when I see loose lots of same date proof coins like this, these were the rejected ones.
That does not make these bad coins!
They are still 90% silver and some are still better than others. There are the best of this batch and then there is the rest if you know what I mean.
If it were me, I would probably put on some finger protection, open the window to avoid fumes and swish them in acetone, rinse them in distilled water, blow dry them off with a hair dryer and put them in 2X2's.
I have always had a hard time with rolled proofs. It's like it is sacrilegious or something to me.
Each time they go in and out of a roll they sustain slight wear and damage.

With Wheezy on this 100% You can breathe on a Proof coin and drop the grade by two points.

Do as he says and then worry about grading, etc.
