I posted this here because I had been told that a die crack coin is common, this coin I have has 3 raised lines near the rim but are in 3 different areas so what is common and what is rare.

It's still fairly common. Once a die starts to crack, it just gets worse and you can easily get multiple cracks until the die falls apart. The Royal Mint produced fewer coins with die cracks, in my opinion, as their quality standards were quite high. However, during the war they were probably trying to conserve resources so the quality slipped a bit.

Yes, it is pretty much a bullion coin. I collect die cracks and that's all that I would pay.

I have multiple GB 3D's dating from 1908 - 1925, with D.Cks.
I would not consider any of them to have much value over melt, too common an occurrence, many years have multiple cracks.

Nevol do you have a 1903 threepence GB coin, this one isn't cracked at all.

Seems like a fairy common oddity.

Yes, fairly common, people used to get real excited about them, but ebay has shown just how common they are. Some of the more dramatic die cracks and rim Cuds still command some premium depending on the demand. I love them but wouldn't pay through the nose for them.
