vermontensium Moderator United States 16679 Posts	Posted 03/07/2009 5:37 pm Just picked up some Lincolns at the Las Vegas show. Possibly one of the darkest Lincolns I've ever come across. I usually use black felt but had to use grey. Looks black in hand. Some underlying luster evident. I bought it from a dealer who has some outstanding Lincolns in 6 different albums (75 Lincolns per album) and this one jumped out at me saying "take me with you". BadThad Bedrock of the Community United States 19942 Posts	Posted 03/08/2009 01:00 am Wood grained Lincolns are tough to grade without large pictures. I hate to attempt a grade without it in hand! It's very difficult to make out the hits. From the angled pictures, it looks to be extremely clean, a small 6 o'clock rev rim ding is about all I can make out from the pics. Based on how clean the reverse wheat stalks and lettering are, this is an MS coin. I very rarely see an AU coin this hit free. MS-63/64 BN Lincoln Cent Lover!
