MisterT Pillar of the Community United States 2003 Posts	Posted 02/07/2023 6:28 pm I saw it as a vf+ coin but was concerned that the denticles didn't look symetrical and on the reverse the mm and cents were very weak compared to the rest of the devices. I know it is common to see weakness in coins that are of lower grade but I would think that a higher grade such as this would be fully struck in that area. Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6384 Posts	Posted 02/07/2023 7:47 pm Looks authentic, surfaces seem OK, and XF-40 seems about right. The mintmark is soft but it's definitely an S. This issue is much more common than the 1875 (P) and should sell for less in all grades. Nevertheless the current bid of $118.50 seems like a pretty good price. Report this Post to the Staff
