Spotted this on the bay and it has 23 bids on it so far. Denticles don't look right to me and there is no mention of the S mintmark in the

Nothing screams "fake," but the poor photo quality makes it hard to tell.

I see it as an XF-40, maybe a bit lower (VF-35).
For that coin in those grades I wouldn't touch it unless slabbed by one of the TPG biggies.

I saw it as a vf+ coin but was concerned that the denticles didn't look symetrical and on the reverse the mm and cents were very weak compared to the rest of the devices. I know it is common to see weakness in coins that are of lower grade but I would think that a higher grade such as this would be fully struck in that area. Think I will pass and I thank you all for your input.

If you check out the seller's sold items, you'll see that he already sold this coin in January for $205.

Did the buyer return it?

Also, the seller's one negative feedback comment was for selling a fake "2013w Enhanced Silver Eagle."

Looks authentic, surfaces seem OK, and XF-40 seems about right. The mintmark is soft but it's definitely an S. This issue is much more common than the 1875 (P) and should sell for less in all grades. Nevertheless the current bid of $118.50 seems like a pretty good price.

Appears genuine. Ask the seller why it was relisted.
