At this point, it could be any number of things, deterioration, plating issues, trails. Without a comprehensive look at the whole coin, who knows. I know I ask a lot of questions and they are usually not necessary but that's just me. Sometimes it works out for me and maybe someone else. Maybe it'll be a new discovery ( sometimes).
