Hello all! Newbie here to show my recent pocket change find. Also working on my photography skills and curious how these photos look? I'm still trying to get good close up images of die markers

to the forum! From these pics, it just looks like a hit, damage to the coin.

Yeah it's more of a ding, but a Cud should be there! Haha There is a little extra material on the rim above that mark.

It's from the damage, moved, misplaced metal.

Fixed spelling. Can't spell very well....

Not a Cud,it is a hit. You need to crop your pics so all we see is the coin not the background.

to the CCF

Agreed that is simply rim damage.

curious how these photos look

They are acceptable for general use. They can be improved by cropping away the background and slightly better focus in particular near the centers of the image.

It's not a Cud, but I do see an extremely slight misaligned die in which has caused a very slight start of a Rim Fin where there is a little extra material creating the raising above "Liberty". Next to the "L" is just a hit and post mint damage. There is no premium for this coin. I only keep rim fins if they show extensively.

Thank you for the input! The closer I crop, the bigger the file is, and these are maxed at 300kb. I do have better photos I cannot download, but that's a problem for a different forum.

1972 was a crazy year for LMC with all the variations and doubled dies. DDO FS-104 seems to be a tricky one. Rev die was used with various obv dies from what I understand. Is it known how many obv dies were used with the same rev markers as DDO FS-104?
