Doubling of some type? Couldn't take pictures to save my life tonight. If they aren't worthy I'll try again tomorrow with more natural light.

*** Edited by Staff to Add Mintmark to Title. It's very important to have in the title. ***

Yes I agree. It is shelf-like doubling that is serving to makes design elements more narrow.

Added: your closeup pics with arrows are fine, although you needn't rotate them.

The rotation was to show the quarter in different refraction of light. Was my intention anyway. Since I can't sleep and I'm still up I did some reading on Machine Doubling and it seems that they are treasured more by the newcomer like myself. I'll keep for giggles and promise my children millions are waiting.

It is not a doubled die. It is Machine Doubling, basically damage to the coin, post strike. Not a premium for these. You do realize the areas where the DDOs are on this year right? (Not there) Check the listing to see what you are missing. To look in the wrong areas is like loading up your car with the luggage, and jack up the power wheel and let them move. After you get 100 miles on the odometer, you've gone nowhere, seen nothing and just spinned your wheel and got no where. So look to see what to look for on the listings, then you will be training your eyes was what to look for. Then you will be getting somewhere.

And for the record. I never said what it was, it was why I posted.
