I have this coin? 2011 RF 2 euro. Looking at it with a magnifying glass, when I tilt it sideways? Under one of the stars there looks like some sort of gemstone? You only see it at an angle in certain light? I've tried to wash it off but it's still there? I don't have another to compare it with? Is this normal for this coin? I can't find anything online that shows this? Input would be appreciated? Ty

My first thought is a piece of glitter.

I agree that's sorta what it looks like? But it won't wash off? Lol and looking at it straight down with the magnifying glass? There's nothing there lol its like it's embedded in the coin itself? It's weird lol I dunno..I'm gonna hang on to it tho lol but preciate your reply &

I seem to remember my daughter had some glitter gel pens when she was younger. They were fairly permanent; coloured glitter suspended in an acrylic medium. Maybe your coin had an artistic accident?
