I've read coop's thread here, http://goccf.com/t/336856 and it makes me doubt that is what I have. I can't seem to find the right google term to find anything else. I bought some of these quarters from mint, and out of the first 50 I've looked at I've seen 3 of these. Between the ear and his hair. The further zoomed out picture isn't showing it well.

Sorry to dig up this thread. I'm going through 2023 P Bessie Coleman quarters and finding many coins with same die chip on plane for feeder fingers like the above. I'm trying to research if these are even worth keeping. I've been putting them all in 2x2, but from what I'm reading it is a waste. The size of the die chip or feeder fingers I see can either gain value or remove value from the coin. And being that both are small, probably gain no value. So do other's keep, or do I toss into circulation?

Well they are not premium coins. They are die event coins. if they are Feeder Finger Damaged/ Die chips/ Die cracks/die breaks, there are no premiums for these coins.

Sorry, this pic doesn't have it. I was just referring to these findings I'm seeing, they ain't worth anything usually. Especially if an electronic microscope is needed to see them. Spenders.

Nice to see, somebody that doesn't buy into the ebay hype. As stated above, these are common on about 50% of the quarters coming out of the mint.
