Looks like a lamination on the obverse and die chip on the reverse. Unable to observe closer, as the photo's become pixelated.

I take it that when you say "Extra dies" you mean Die Chips.
You have chips on both sides and what may be a Die Crack above the eye.

Nice die chip on the reverse. A closer-in, sharp photo of Roosevelt's hair might tell us more.

Die chips on obv. and rev. all in common areas however, chip on rev. is large and nice, it is becoming more common.

During the strike there are only three dies. Obverse, reverse and the collar. The collar can be plain, have devices or show reeds. As mentioned a chip off the die, will leave a void on the die. This void is filled with planchet metal, showing a raised area (chip) on the coin. So this is a die event. (reverse)
