Good morning beautiful people. I'm curious about the "double feathers" on the obverse and the die clash or crack? on the reverse. Bought this at a garage sale and I hope I did good. Lol.. lmk what yall think and enjoy your Saturday morning.

Hang on, some may have more to say about the obverse, than the rump? Thanks, Doug.

At 7:30 I see a hump in the dirt which is normal. "hump in dirt and scratch on rump".

Yours is a worn normal Buffalo nickel. The two feathers are just polished die issues that removes the third feather.

Another polished die issue that people cling onto that are just die polishing. These are die events. They can happen on any year when the dies are over polished.

CoopHome: What are the two feather Buffalo nickels? just over polished die issues. these are just die events. a lot of tada, for new ones to look for, that are just die events. The dies were normal, the third feather was polished off. just another die event to push on to the new collectors.

A few-years back, I received a 1928 Buffalo nickel in change at the grocery-store.

I'm comparing my 1928 Nickel with the 1920 Nickel pictured. From the picture, difficult to tell if the1920 Nickel has an Error.

The 1928 date on my Nickel is slightly-less worn than the 1920 Nickel pictured.
