My novice eyes would agree with 2 die chips here. Being that the stairs are linear line, def makes me think the extra material is die chip. Now I'll watch this thread to see how I fared in my judgement. Go experts go!

looks like a die chip, note that smaller, less magnified pics will be easier for us to evaluate
