This is definitely a coin book variety for a PL strike. The 6 and the 9 speak for its self how they looped through one another. Junk box find this morning. Report this Post to the Staff

There may have been some pressure problems with the presses otherwise. Definitely strange to see on a PL set .... they must have made a bunch of them to see that amount of die wear. Doubling like this is not a variety... it's an error with bad QC. Report this Post to the Staff

You can also find that same doubling ( Machine Doubling) in the 1c, 5c, 10c and nickel dollar in those PL sets.
