Just a test photo as I use my old Photoshop to try and resize photos for CCF.

Success! Looks like I can use Photoshop instead of PIXLR.

Very nice but the glare. Even when I click on the pic it enlarges nicely.

Is there any way CCF can allow at least a 1-3 mb to upload photos? Kb's are so restricting, even for me being a tech.
It could also assist newcomer's in not becoming frustrated with the kb's. Thank you.

Probably not, it is a matter of server storage, with the amount of photos uploaded daily even large terabyte drives could fill up fairly quickly. Once we upload an image, we, as users, have no way to delete them.
But I have never had a problem with the 300K restrictions and had a noticeable loss of quality.
When I take a photo, I make sure that it is at least 1200x1200 pixels and save it at 100% quality, then reduce it to 600x600 - the file size is then reduced and the quality is compressed so it still looks great.

I have 12 pages of photos each page has 200 pictures, all are under 300KB and very high details. If you can't resize a picture, it has more to do with your photographing skills than this web page. This picture is under 300KB, are you telling me you need more details than this?

Click on it for the full 1200 by 1200 resolution.

If we changed the import to higher you would still have blurry images by newbies. The image size has nothing to do with how clear or sharp the picture is.

That is quite an amazing photo (and coin) the lettering around the circumference looks like it is floating above the surface of the coin.
