on this 1983 D cent what is that mark behind Lincolns ear and right below it is it some kind of doubling or is it a die crack

@prisbrey.... Its difficult to assess from your pics but in pic # 3 (to me) your coin does display characteristics of the DDO-2 (doubled ear) on wexlers. Here's the link..... https://doubleddie.com/307743.html

If it's bubble because of plating issue. Then with a toothpick you can smash it flat.

@prisbrey.... Did you compare your coin, to the DDO-2 listed on wexlers? From the pics you supplied, your coin has similarities.

Could be wrong but looks like a die crack to me based on the image shown. Try to provide a more localized pic of the affected area

Yes are better but I stand with the primary mine reflection. I downloaded the photos to look at. Sorry do not meet the WDDO-002.
