1985 D Penny With A Different "R"

Hi I'm sure this is nothing but I did find this penny with a much different type of the letter R in liberty than any other R I have seen in any other 1985 D or other coin actually. Maybe I'm wrong ? .. but I have a few pics of it to include a black and white one to show more detail. And an example I see in other 1985 D coins

Looks like another coin dinged it on the R. PMD in my opinion.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

My immediate reaction is that the R took a hit in circulation.
