Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4404 Posts	Posted 02/23/2023 7:05 pm Now I saw this 1909 VDB 1DR-008 come up on CopperCoins recently and I noticed something about it: it looks just like the master die doubling (or reduction lathe doubling) on other VDB cents. Just check out 1DR-005. Quote: 1DR-005... NOTE: Subsequent evaluation and discussion shows that portions of the doubling may in fact be Master Die Doubling, or reduction lathe doubling.
