Now I saw this 1909 VDB 1DR-008 come up on CopperCoins recently and I noticed something about it: it looks just like the master die doubling (or reduction lathe doubling) on other VDB cents.
Just check out 1DR-005.

Also 1DR-006: https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...ie_state=mds
1DR-005 looks so much like this new proof DDR, so why does one get the disclaimer but the other doesn't?
Just check out 1DR-005.

1DR-005... NOTE: Subsequent evaluation and discussion shows that portions of the doubling may in fact be Master Die Doubling, or reduction lathe doubling.
