Looks like a magician coin. Note the motto on 1993 nickel looks like there is a line there. So it was altered.

Hollowed out and the 1992, 1993 added to that coin where you can see the seam:

I'm going to agree it's a Magicians coin. If you blow up the first picture the 93 you can actually see it around the rim.

I can assure you, this is not a Magicians coin it is not hollow it was not pieced together. That obviously was my first thought. It is also slightly sicker and heavier than your average nickel.

Believe me I've seen hundreds of these, bet the house on it. You can't see the seam plain as day from the milling?

Of course it is, it's a nickel inside a nickel.

Click => Magician's coin.

I realize its tempting to think you have come across a unique and valuable coin - but that is not the case here.

There is zero doubt from your photos that that 1993 obverse was placed into a section machined from the reverse side of the 1992 dated host coin. Nobody is saying it's 'hollow' - I'm telling you with 100% certainty it is a pieced together Magicians coin.

I can see from here the obvious remaining seam in your photos - and you have the coin in hand so take an objective look.

It being heavier and thicker is just more evidence it is made from two coins. There is absolutely no way it is anything else.
