Ugh I need a USB Microscope working with an old Fuji film 12.2mp camera. Let me go back into Pixlr X and see if I can refine pics

very odd, it looks like a glob of copper was pressed onto this cent. (that is the best I got for this one)

An accurate weight might tell us more. Looks interesting, yes.

You would think that there would have to be the opposant damage on the obverse. It's like someone milled out a circle, and plugged it with a taller plug?

Weight appears to be correct.

No doubt it is just damage of some sort but trying to figure out how. Can you give us one of those nice clear closeups of the obverse, like you did of the reverse, where I've circled?

Not quite what I was looking for but good enough. The reverse is all messed up, flattened out and possibly has a curvature to the coin. Does it roll when you have it with the reverse facing up? I think there was something soft, like leather, on the obverse side and something rolled or smashed into the reverse. It looks like something was rolled across the reverse that raised the area in question to some extent, no extra metal, just misplaced, raising it up, slightly.

Agreed PMD. Today I had an epiphany it's apparent that most of my "Odd Look" rolls are likely to land in one of three categories; PMD, Lamination or Die Crack. I have 11+ tubes to thumb through so thank you for your patients and expertise and I do apologize if I seem to be a bit short with folks. Rest assured I'm not intentionally posting fakes, just trying to learn how to spot them. Somegoodcents disapproves of any counterfeits or scammers.
