Consider posting only one coin per discussion thread. Makes it easier to focus on what the issues may be.

The 1965 quarter looks like it has what we call "The Ring of Death" caused by a coin rolling machine. On the 1972, it looks to be normal to me - can you explain what you see please?

I don't see anything special about them. Those dates are Copper/Nickel Clad...not silver. Silver Quarters ended after the 1964.

If you want to start a collection of Quarters you could always stick them in a book for now and replace them down the road with better coins.

Otherwise, they're just circulated Quarters.

Anything else that you can be more specific about?

I bought the Warman's books and Whitman's books to fill out as I find quarters and has truly been a fun task. I still need Guam and Washington D.C. to complete the State Quarters of 1999-2009. https://www.amazon.com/State-Quarte...p/1440212953
Best part is they are affordable.

I'm new too but I recommend starting with this book:

A Guide Book of US coins 2023 (Guide Book of United States coins) - you can search it on Amazon.

Cptjack, I believe you can find a lot of help and good information here. However, it is best to be clear with your question (s) or inquires. In regard to the quarters you posted, what exactly are you asking?
