It is hard to tell for sure with your lighting, but if that spot above the lip is incuse, it is likely just a dent, and of it is raised, then it is likely a die chip, only different from the common one, which is normally below the lip.

in the images, I see what appears to be a die chip in an area where we've seen it before.
What do you mean it is gone now?

What do you mean it is gone now? I mean it's not there ,I have a lot of them with all stages .but this is more incuse ,the left of the mouth drops down as you go to the mouth to the right (shelf like a mdo ) but the top of the mark is jagged like . There is a real small chip between the mouth and, the chin too. But I have not seen a chip fall off ,and was asking if this is what happen here on this coin ? thank you all.

A chip can't just fall off. When a chip is formed due to a defect in the die, it becomes part of the design and can no more fall off than a letter. If that mark is incuse, then it is damage from a hit.
