There are no Tigers outside of zoos in Canada, the Lynx is much smaller and not known to be a man-eater. Cannot tell from the photos if there is some ED or just dirt. A fair bit of wear on the devices, maybe VF condition.

First of all, there are no Tigers in Canada (except in zoos), that is a Bobcat.
It is made of 80% silver with a mintage of nearly 49 million.
In that condition it would be worth the value of the bullion.

I know very well that there are no tigers in Canada I just gave a paste to the title of the post Your mental perceptions made you think that I say that there are tigers in Canada but I did not mean that but thank you for the information.

As mentioned, in that condition, your coin is worth melt value.
They were struck in both 80% and 50% silver.
No quick, easy, nor economical way to differentiate the two.
Bullion dealers buy and sell them as 65% silver.

DBM Do they buy it at the price of a gram of silver? Or do they buy it at a lower price and then sell it to profit?

I expected that of course they would buy many coins for a low price and then they would sell them as you told me at the price of bullion (in grams) and so there is a chance to profit.

When you say Canadian Tiger in your heading, we have to assume that you meant that the animal on the coin was a Tiger.
There is no way that we are able to know that you just "pasted" the word in.
