Fairly nice-sized clip on this one but seems more like an AU than an MS coin. It does not make the keeper pile.

It does seem to have some light contact marks from circulation. For completeness, would you mind adding a pic of the edge in clipped area? Thx.

I have my doubts that this coin is a mint error.
When coin with a clipped blank comes from the metal strip before being turned into a planchet, the shear is in one direction and that should be evident on the coin, with the rim sheared in one direction only.

This coin appears as if it has been bitten with curved pincers, much like a fingernail clipper.

Moreover,
evidence of the blakesley effect not apparent.

Thanks for the comments! The coin shows very strong Blakesly effect so no real need to worry about it not being legit. Might be a chance to pull it back out of the 2x2 for a pic of the edge later, but figured there must be many edge pics of clips on here and taking those tends to be a lot of monkeying around with the coin since I need to stand it on edge under the scope. But this isn't that nice of a coin so could do that.
