Heya,
I'm not 100% sure on this RPM cent.
What do you all think?

It looks pretty good. It crosses with cc and VV too, here is a pic of yours and theirs. See if you can find any markers.

I agree with Makescents. Definitely an RPM.

I'm not sure if I've ever come across an RPM for the year, so congrats.

Cool. Yeah it's a strange one. I wasn't sure if it matched or not.
It has a controversial story behind it...
It was thought to be a "D" over an "S" for a long time.
I think the most recent thinking on this RPM is D over D.

Variety Vista lists as D over S. Wexler lists as D over D.
If I agree with VV, mine has no die scratch over VDB so perhaps Stage A.
Thanks guys.

. Nice find. Looks like Stage A. Wonder where stage B is?

Yeah Rob I'm sure how that works with missing Stages...you see it often on these sites.
Anyone know about this?

This looks more like the OMM makecents posted in VV's site.
I cannot find an RPM match but the OMM looks right.
I think I can see a 'ball serif' on the 'S'

From my database, it is WRPM-078, CONECA: OMM #2, Cherrypickers: FS-01-1951D-502 (021.52), Coppercoins: 1951D-1OM-002, Crawford: CRPM-002. Only CONECA/VV still say OMM but D/S is different.

Thanks COOP for the links. What is your opinion on this particular die?
Is it D over S or D over D?..or is it just a matter of opinion?

I feel it is an 'S'. Note that there is no lower serif that should be seen on this OMM if it were a RPM.
