Hello everyone got this strange looking cent, appears to have bubble writing devices? Is this a result of being in some sort of acid? Or some other PMD? Any comments welcome, love Alun

First thing that comes to mind is the coin being placed in-between two pieces of leather and then hammered. Whatever caused it is PMD and not an error.

I'm thinking this is an earlier stage Dryer Coin. An end-on pic of the rim might tell us more.

Yep, Dryer Coin. The puffiness is from the heat.
