Hello all,
I am extremely nrento the world of error coins, by a friend who now has me second guessing myself, everytime I do laundry. I noticed that the text on these two 1965 Quarters appeared slightly different. I have read through previous discussions and was hoping to find out if I'm just looking at "Die Degradation" or, I'm looking at "something interesting?" I would probably just hang onto anything rare, to pass on to my son. I have personally passed some pretty rare one's in my days, one in particular was stamped so offset, that Old George's nose was kissing the border. If I only knew then, right?
Anyway, I have more images, if needed and welcome any feedback.

Thanks for looking.

The text is not different, what you are seeing is a quarter
with wear and damage vs a regular quarter.
They both would have looked the same when
they left the mint so nothing special here.
Also the correct term is Die Deterioration.
Keep looking, you might find something yet.

To the laundry jar they go then. Thank you @JimmyD. I'm looking forward to learning more, as I sift through every coin that hits my pockets. It's almost like I can't help myself anymore &
