1992 Wide AM Or Close AM? - Coin Community Forum

There are three accurate diagnostic pick up points - the least accurate is the spacing between the AM. I prefer to focus on the location of the A between the two T in STATES If the A is centered between the two T - then it is a WAM. This is your coin If the A is definitely closer to the 2nd T then it is a CAM reverse. This is easy to see and easy to remember so put that knowledge to use in your roll searching.
