Are one of these large date and the other one small date or are they the same. And if they are different which one is which?

Top one looks like a small date, the other is the other.

Ditto. Top is small date. Bottom is large date.

The best way for me to tell is looking at the 6. Look at the two 6's and you will see what I mean. It also looks like the 9 is smaller. Did you find them roll searching?

Top one is a 1960D small date, bottom one is a 1960 D large date.

Line up the top of the 9 with the number 1- notice there is a big difference
in height- on the large date, the top of the 9 is higher than the top of the one and on the small date the top of the one and nine are even.

That's how I tell them apart right away!

Top photo is a small,the bottom is a large.I go by the tail of the 6,short tail=small date,long tail=large date.

The top coin is smaller date the bottom large I tell by the zero the smaller loop in the middle of the digit
