I can't tell if this is the S over D error or just a RPM.

Agree with better pics. I do see some sort of Doubling below (west) of the date. The MM could be the S over D, there is a discrepancy inside the S but only better pics will reveal.

most likely AU to MS, pics are too washed out for specific grading

I tried to get the best images I could. Using my iPhone. If theese don't cut it, does anyone have any advice on how to get clear and close magnified pics?

the orange peel look is indicative of a very late stage die, which might also be responsible for other odd looking elements
