1965 Penny - Double In God We Trust

slackerzrubicon New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 03/13/2023 3:23 pm Hello All, I was recently going though some things my grandfather had left me, and included in them was a penny that I found interesting. It appears to have "In God we Trust" partially stamped on the rim on the back side of the coin. I did some research and wasn't able to find anything about this kind of mark. I was hoping someone could shed some light on it, and how it could have happened. I know he used to pick coins out of his spare change when he found them interesting. I have a few containers that I am going to work though and see what he found. Thanks again!
