This coin came in a lot with an Anastasius Follis I was interested in. Sadly the Anastasius was toasted in reality, and this smaller coin is in better condition. I can't seem to nail the attribution. My search criteria included cross with wedges and B.
The cross is more like a Jerusalem cross, but with wedges, not the centre square. On the opposite face, I am guessing a figure in a robe holding something in his/her right hand. Possibly "do?" at the bottom
Anyway I got nowhere really. It could be from Edessa, Cypress, France, etc.
Hopefully one of the more experienced members will know this in a flash. Thanks in advance.

@ttk, can you please give us the diameter and weight? That info can help with searching. Thx.

It doesn't look copper or bronze, and doesn't look like Crusader or Byzantine coinage. My initial assumption is a Byzantine lead seal.

Ok, it's 17.2mm x 16.9mm
1.95 grams
It feels light in the hand.

After searching for what seems a life time I have finally narrowed this coin down to where I think I have positive ID, but I would like some other opinions on it.
The cross itself is fairly uncommon with a tidy B in the quadrant.
But I found some similarity in the Palaeologus family 'coat of arms'.
And then I found the same cross, with John V Palaeologus on the obverse.
It has a lot in common, but perhaps a variation?
Interesting that acsearch cites their example as possibly unique, and unpublished in all major references.
What are your thoughts?
